Shopify is in stock, but Merchant Center says out of stock
Check the exact selected variant across the purchasable page state, its matching structured Offer, and one local feed row. This isolates a supported availability conflict before you change inventory data.
MMP does not inspect Shopify Admin, Merchant Center account state, shipping destinations, or checkout. It compares supported values on the page you open and the feed row you supply.
Match the variant before comparing stock state.
A parent product can be available while one selected option is not. Keep the product identity fixed throughout the comparison.
Open the exact variant
Load the public product URL and select the same size, color, or option represented by the affected feed item.
Confirm the visible state
Verify that the selected variant can actually be purchased now; do not infer stock from a parent product or another option.
Inspect Offer.availability
Associate the selected variant with its Product or ProductGroup Offer and record the supported Schema.org availability value.
Compare one feed row
Paste or import the affected row locally and confirm that its availability belongs to the same variant identifier.
Identify the stale layer
Treat the page, structured data, and feed as separate sources. Change only the source that is demonstrably out of date.
Fix and rescan
After the storefront or feed update is live, scan the same selected variant again and retain the local repair report.
The page can be in stock while its Offer is stale.
This example would support an R04 finding only after the selected variant and structured Offer are matched confidently.
